Illuminations and Sparks of Brilliance Archive of Verse We arise every morning to continue in this Life Not knowing what awaits us, be it peace or be it strife But still we continue on this path we’ve been given Looking for more purpose of why we are living And if we do look and truly then do see We can find simple beauty and embrace it gently Likewise, if we listen and truly then do hear We are simply reminded that we are here not to fear Listen to the birds as they sing up in the trees Watch the sun set slowly, as it paints the sky so free The lily and the rose, they do not ever fret And never will you meet an osprey with regret And here we are so human, sometimes bogged down in distress Perhaps the squirrels can teach us to trust in our success So freely they do play, but worry they do not Everyday they are given, and so fulfilled is their lot We were put here for a purpose: To find passion on our path So be ye not distracted by illusionary wrath But rather, I say, continue the journey that is you Look to be grateful as Life winks to you a cue The sun will remind you, as the birds sing their song You were put here for your Greatness, and that never can be wrong...
