Illuminations and Sparks of Brilliance Archive of Verse When we travel each day on this, Life’s road We must be careful as to the size of our load But even more so, yes, we must keep our hands on the wheel ‘Cause when we’re not steering, it’s our lives that others steal And as you go down this new highway of Life Know that there are potholes full of chaos and of strife And when there are times when you cannot see ahead Keep your hands on the wheel and always use your head And driving down this road is not a perfect drive You may swerve and swoon to keep yourself alive There is plenty of leeway between the fences here So try not to be perfect and be not persuaded by fear This is the road of Life and the lessons, they are many Use your inner wisdom: Save your dollars, not your pennies And always allow yourself to experiment anew Be not black and white, but let the gray be your cue So go now on your journey, keeping this in mind Life is full of riches....Go now and find your find And as you’re on this highway and come to a hill Put it into overdrive and take on this unknown thrill Yes, this is Life’s gift to you: It’s called Life 101 If you keep it between the fences, you’re always having fun Yes, go now Child and take this trip as a virgin Soul Go now into the Great Unknown to make yourself more whole Keni Lee
