She goes upon her path into the great unknown
Full of shadows, fear and such...Her courage is now shown
She does embrace the darkness, the place not yet revealed
She fights the age old demons with but her sword and shield
She finds her Warrior energy to fight through this new day
She shares her battle stories in all that she does say
But she may not know the victory that she does surely hold
No longer held as captive by shame and fear of old
Go now, my friend, I say to you, go and fight your fight
You have all of what you need to conquer every fright
Your friends will surely support you, yes each and every day
Yes, your friends will be there in every single way
But this new path you must go, yes, you must go alone
This is about a newness: Your safe true inner home
The tears that are so dreaded are also, yes, your friends
This is your heart, yes, thawing out, so may they never end
Yes, go now, you, and blaze that trail of the healing way
And embrace yourself entirely and complete your work today
For tomorrow is another day...Who knows what it’ll bring
