Illuminations and Sparks of Brilliance Archive of Verse
Quite a place to be, between the rain and the sun A paradox of Life: wanting both work and some fun And as I come to learn more about this Life I, too, was there to escape from some strife With all the insane chaos tumbling all around I sought to find some shelter and some rock-solid ground I found it somehow in the midst of this storm I got what I sought....a space of some norm And as I was entranced by these healers of Light I began to let go of that deep inner fight New friends I did meet and old friendships renewed I did find some safety and my Soul was refueled The content was rich but the process was more In the eye of the storm I did let my Spirit soar Opened myself up to even more of Life I cut loose of fear with my spiritual knife Yes, I am grateful for this gathering time Now reconnecting to my rhythm and my rhyme So I say thanks, yes, to all who did come The experience, for me, was second to none I found time to relax and saw the sweet sun set Enriched and edified....there was no better bet I weathered the storm....I believe each we did In that circle of Souls we embraced our inner-kids And created for all, a new sense of some peace And to that old, old fear, we let go and did release Thank-you, my friends, for this harbor of Light I am now back on my path and fight the very good fight...
