I had an incredible group of people come to one of my workshops on Spirituality and the Higher Self. The feedback I received on all the evaluation forms was excellent...I had done a wonderful job in presenting and facilitating. I wonder, however, if those "students" know what all they taught me? The gifts and lessons I receive from being the "teacher" are amazing... let me share a few and perhaps inspire you too to become "the teacher that learns so much".

I am reminded that regardless of our complex uniqueness, we are all so much the same. We all seem to be held back, from time to time, by fears that are mostly not real. We all want to be more self-expressed and creative in our lives. We all wrestle with some guilt from the past and some anxiety about the future...we all seem to struggle to stay in the present. Yes, I am reminded of this common thread of humanity that connects us all.

I am amazed, time and time again, that a group of strangers can come together and reveal their hearts, tears, and guts to each other. I am blessed to witness the courage and desire these individuals have to push forward into a greater life. They are my heroes...they help to fulfill my life purpose, "To illuminate and inspire brilliance."

Furthermore, in preparing for a workshop, a class, or a presentation, magical synchronicity shows up in so many profound ways. As I search the web for information, go through books from my library, and read old notes, I am in a constant state of thought-provoking "Hmmmmmm", and soul-enhancing " A-ha!". The perfect book, article, song, or quote, just seems to magically show up. By the time I am ready to present I have already learned and my cup is readily overflowing.

So I say "thank-you" to each of you participants of these programs. Thank you for teaching me and blessing me...I am ready, and willing, to learn, and learn, and learn...
